This year marked a delightful first for us: Christmas sheets! When I discovered these incredibly charming flannel sheets at Target for just $35, I couldn’t resist. Featuring an adorable dog pattern, they combine quality and whimsy perfectly. They add an extra layer of warmth and coziness, visible peeking out in the photo below. An unplanned yet utterly delightful addition to our bedroom this year is this gorgeous Christmas tree. I initially purchased it for the coffee nook area showcased in Part 1 of the tour, but its generous width proved a bit too expansive for that space. Serendipitously, it found its perfect home in our bedroom, and I’m completely smitten. I particularly appreciate the beauty of this style of tree unadorned, allowing its natural form and the soft glow of its lights to create a captivating ambiance. Attley’s Vibrant and Playful Christmas Haven
Prepare for a delightful splash of color as we enter Attley’s room, a vivid contrast to Avery’s serene space! As my resident color-lover, Attley’s room bursts with personality. While her stunning wall mural is a vibrant masterpiece on its own, I managed to sprinkle in some charming Christmas decor. Above her bed, you’ll spot some playful felt snowflakes (cleverly repurposed placemats!) and a wonderful lighted garland that she absolutely adores having on at night. Though the mural can act as a beautiful camouflage in photos, these festive additions are far more noticeable and magical in person, creating a truly enchanting nighttime glow. And of course, when I stumbled upon this adorable pillow, I knew it was meant for her room, perfectly complementing her cheerful aesthetic.
Her desk bookcase also received a festive upgrade with some really cute letters spelling out “MERRY,” adding a cheerful and personal touch to her workspace. It’s these small, thoughtful details that truly bring the holiday spirit to life in a child’s room, making their space feel extra special and inviting during the festive season.
Just like Avery, Attley also enjoys a tiny tabletop tree on her bedside table, bringing a miniature forest magic right to her reach. Beside it, a piece of charming chalk art she created a couple of years ago serves as a sweet reminder of past Christmases, blending personal history with current holiday cheer.
